Machine introduction:

The “robot cell for wafer handling” is used to automatically remove blocks of wafers from boxes and then place and stack them on a conveyor belt.

Functional sequence:

  • take over a transport box filled with wafer blocks
  • open and hold the lid of the trasport box
  • turn the box into removal position
  • place and stack the wafers on the conveyor belt
  • replace the emptied box with a new filled transport box

Wafer cutting system for bag filling:

The “robot cell for wafer handling” was designed as part of a system for processing wafer blocks. The system is completed by our “wafer cutting machine” and a conveyor belt system that transports the wafers to the filling line.
